AccuWeather: Extreme Heat Warning in effect through Saturday in the Philadelphia region

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Temperatures will be near 100 degrees the next three days, and it will feel even hotter when you factor in the humidity.

TONIGHT: An isolated evening shower, then warm and muggy, low 79.

WEDNESDAY: The heat is building with sunny skies and an isolated storm around, high 98. Heat index values will be between 100-105 degrees.

THURSDAY: Even hotter with the temperature tying the record high for the day set back in 1901, high 103. Heat index values will be between 105-110 degrees.

FRIDAY: High heat and humidity, high 103. Heat index values once again between 105-110 degrees or even higher. An isolated thunderstorm can't be ruled out.

SATURDAY (4TH OF JULY): Hot and humid with the threat for thunderstorms later in the day, high 100. The Extreme Heat Warning continues with heat indices likely near 105 degrees.

SUNDAY: Clouds, some sun with the threat of late day storms, high 94.

MONDAY: Watching for the chance of scattered thunderstorms, high 87.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny and less humid, high 86.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds, some sun, high 85.
