Bright and breezy start to Father's Day weekend

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The weekend remains dry and seasonable before downpours and storms arrive Monday.

TODAY: A nice and bright start to the weekend with a gusty breeze, high 85. Winds will gust up to 30 mph.

TONIGHT: Clear and comfortable, low 65.

SUNDAY (FATHER'S DAY): Some sun with more clouds moving in later in the day, high 86.

The summer solstice also occurs on Sunday at 4:24 am.

MONDAY: The tropical humidity returns with dewpoints climbing into the 70s. Showers develop during the morning, with rain becoming steadier during the afternoon and evening.

Downpours and even some thunderstorms can't be ruled out, high 84. If showers and storms break at times, our high temperature may be warmer.

TUESDAY: Clouds give way to more afternoon sun, high 82.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny and seasonable, high 85.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny with a pop-up thunderstorm possible, high 85.

FRIDAY: Clouds, some sun. A spotty shower can't be ruled out, high 83.
