Strong winds are to blame for bringing down a tree and power lines in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.

Strong winds are to blame for bringing down a tree and power lines in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.

It happened around 2 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Great Springs and Woodleave roads.

A tree reportedly came crashing down, blocking a roadway and bringing down some utility wires.

No injuries were reported, and no major property damage.

In Philadelphia's Germantown section, a branch was found hanging over wires near 65th and Wister streets.

Fire crews were called to the scene in case the branch catches fire from the electrical lines.
