Woman in serious condition after being stabbed by husband in North Philadelphia home

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is accused of stabbing his wife in their North Philadelphia home.

Police were called out to the scene on the 2700 block of North Orkney Street around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the man stabbed his 29-year-old wife multiple times after they got into an argument.

The woman was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she is listed in serious condition.

The victim's husband was taken into custody and faces numerous charges.
