Pemberton crash leaves woman dead

PEMBERTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Pemberton Township Police continue to investigate a crash that left a woman dead overnight.

The incident occurred around midnight Friday along the Pemberton Bypass near Shady Lane.

Police say the victim, identified as Jeanette Luna of Brown Mills, New Jersey, exited her parked car and walked into oncoming traffic. She was hit by multiple vehicles.

All three drivers stopped and remained at the scene.

Luna died as a result of the crash. One of the drivers suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro for observation.
