PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after being shot in the head in the city's Port Richmond section.
The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of East Ann Street.
Police said the man was shot in the head and knee.
He was rushed to Temple University Hospital.
Police say at the hospital, a gun was found on the victim's waistband along with drugs.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said, "Also recovered were 15 small bags of what appears to be heroin. There's a possibility the shooting may be drug related."
