Both directions of Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County reopened

The closure could last one to two hours, Turnpike officials announced Tuesday.

NORRISTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County has fully reopened after an earlier shutdown.

The westbound lanes of Interstate 276 between the Norristown Exit (#333) and the Ft. Washington Exit (#339) reopened around 1:30 p.m.

The eastboun lanes reopened less than an hour later.

The closure was for emergency utility line work.
