OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia man who pleaded guilty to placing hidden cameras in public bathrooms along the Ocean City Boardwalk was sentenced on Monday.

Harold Perkins learned that he will serve five years of probation, with credit for time served at the Cape May County Correctional Facility.

Prosecutors said Perkins placed six hidden cameras in public bathrooms along the Ocean City boardwalk last year.

The devices captured footage of multiple victims - including children - using the restrooms, investigators said.

The cameras were found in bathrooms on 6th, 10th and 11th streets.

Authorities said Perkins was arrested on June 20, 2025, after investigators used license plate reader technology to identify and locate him.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of invasion of privacy back in May.
