The plaintiffs allege they now suffer from PTSD after witnessing the crash near Cottman Avenue on January 31, 2025.

The plane took off from the Northeast Philadelphia Airport, and the NTSB said the flight crew was in communication with the air traffic control tower at the time of the crash.
The NTSB said there was no distress call from the crew.
Investigators determined the plane came down at a 22-degree angle, based on a commercial sign it hit on the way down.
The crash sent a fireball into the sky and debris flying down the block, leaving behind a debris field 1,410 feet long and 840 feet wide.
Eight people were killed, dozens of others were injured and hundreds of homes were impacted.
These lawsuits join more than 100 claims against Med Jets, seeking compensation from the company's $10 million insurance policy.
