It happened at 8 p.m. Friday on Stauffer Road near Route 100 in Washington Township.

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Berks County are looking for the person who shot a 13-year-old boy.

It happened at 8 p.m. Friday on Stauffer Road near Route 100 in Washington Township.

Officers arrived to find the teen had been shot multiple times.

The boy is reported to be in critical condition at an area hospital.

Pennsylvania State Police in Reading are asking anyone with information about shooting to call them at 610-378-4011 or via the Berks Crime Alert at 877-373-9913.
