Head-on crash on MLK Drive, injuries reported

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Injuries have been reported after a head-on crash on Martin Luther King Drive in the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia.

It happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday.

MLK Drive was shut down approaching Sweet Briar Drive while crews were on the scene.

The extent of the reported injuries is not known.

It's also unclear what caused the crash.
