
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Gay News hosted the 2026 Stonewall Awards & Pride Brunch, an annual ceremony which honors local people and organizations that have made a positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community.
The ceremony was held on Sunday, June 7 at the Arts Ballroom.
6abc's Adam Joseph was the emcee for the event.
This year's awardees were:
-Jacen Bowman, president of Philly Black Pride
-Ashley K. Lunkenheimer, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Ennoble Care
-Alex Niedbalski-Sykes, co-founder and president of the Philadelphia Sisters
-Councilman Mark Squilla, who represents City Council's First District
-Philly Pride Visitor Center, a dedicated LGBTQ+ visitor center located at 12th and Locust streets in Philadelphia's Gayborhood
