Buyer considering reopening shuttered Iron Hill Brewery locations in Philadelphia region

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A number of Iron Hill Brewery locations across the Philadelphia area may soon reopen.

That's after a buyer came forward.

Iron Hill abruptly closed all of its locations last month and filed for liquidation bankruptcy.

The restaurant chain owed creditors $20 million.

The former CEO of Famous Dave's BBQ, Jeff Crivello, now says he intends to revive 10 of those locations, including in Center City Philadelphia, West Chester, and Wilmington.

Crivello says he will either reopen them as Iron Hill or convert them.
