The first live-action "Vampirina" series brings music, mystery and guest stars including Mykal-Michelle Harris and Jenna Davis.

LOS ANGELES -- Get ready to sink your teeth into the new series "Vampirina: Teenage Vampire."
Disney Branded Television has released the official teaser trailer and poster for "Vampirina: Teenage Vampire," offering a first look at the new music-driven, supernatural coming-of-age series. The show premieres Friday, September 12, at 8:00 and 8:30 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel, with weekly episodes to follow. All 16 episodes will be available to stream on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand beginning October 15.
"Vampirina: Teenage Vampire" follows tween vampire Vee as she leaves Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. Living among humans for the first time, she pursues her passion for music while keeping her vampire identity hidden.
Kenzi Richardson stars as Vee, alongside Jiwon Lee as roommate Sophie, Shaun Dixon as Elijah, Milo Maharlika as Demi, and Faith Hedley as Britney. Kate Reinders and Jeff Meacham portray Vee's vampire parents, with Kim Coles as Dean Merriweather.
Guest stars this season include Emmy Award winner Mykal-Michelle Harris ("Raven's Home") as Ruby, Jenna Davis ("M3GAN," "M3GAN 2.0") as Megan, Ariel Martin (aka Baby Ariel; "ZOMBIES") as popstar Millie Eyelash, and Janice LeAnn Brown ("Wizards Beyond Waverly Place") reprising her role as Billie in a mystical crossover.
From the creative team behind "Julie and the Phantoms," Dan Cross and David Hoge serve as showrunners and executive producers. Tim Federle, Bronwyn North-Reist and Meg Deloatch also executive produce.
