Man critically hurt by debris that fell from scaffolding in Center City Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was critically injured by falling debris in Center City Philadelphia on Friday.

Police say the man was walking in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street just before 11 a.m. when he was struck by debris that fell from scaffolding.

He was taken to Jefferson University Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
