WINDSOR TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Berks County officials have identified a woman whose skull was found in June 1992.
DNA, along with genetic genealogy, led investigators to 25-year-old Nuria Rodriguez, from the Bronx, New York.
For the last 34 years, Rodriguez's family had been seeking answers after she failed to show up for her child's birthday party.
In June 1992, a farmer working in a field along Christman Road in Windsor Township found a human skull on top of freshly turned soil. When authorities arrived, they found a shallow grave that contained a woman's partial skeletal remains.
Investigators determined that the remains had been there for at least a year before being discovered.
A forensic facial sketch was created in an effort to identify the woman, who became known as "Christmas Jane Doe."

Due to the condition of the remains, Rodriguez's exact cause and manner of death could not be determined.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death remains active. Anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police Troop L, Hamburg at (610)562-6885.
