Secret service officials raided an office building in Cherry Hill in connection to an alleged counterfeit money operation.

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Secret service agents descended on a nondescript office building at 620 Deer Road on Tuesday morning, tossing a stun grenade as they made their entrance.

"I heard a big boom and out of the corner of my eyes a big flash. My coworker and I looked, saw a SWAT team, FBI or whatever - they were running towards the door," said Chuck Richards.

Secret service officials in Washington will only say that the raid involves a counterfeit money operation and that several arrests have been made.

A man was seen being escorted by officers in and out of the building.

It caught the attention of others in the complex and a local delivery man. They say the group of four who worked inside the building had no business name posted and there was extremely tight security, including bars on the windows and doors.

"They would get stuff to the back door and he had a lot of security in there. If you see that there's cameras all over that building and he would have to go through two doors to answer," said Don Walsh, deliveryman.

"Constantly always over your shoulder, always looking around," said Kim Leggie.

Leggie, who works at an environmental lab, says the behavior of the people across the way led nearby businesses to think something fishy was going on inside.

"Just the way they were acting, the way they were acting and looking around and different kinds of bags they were bringing in and out," she said.

"You see 'em out front, see them walk around. I don't see them do much of anything else. They keep to themselves, they're quiet," said Dave Datz.

Several people in the complex say they knew the office was under surveillance for at least a couple of months.

"My neighbor went out and asked them what they were doing and they just they showed their badge and said we are out here for surveillance," said David McCann.

All of the monitoring and surveillance paid off with authorities netting several arrests.

No word on the identities of those arrested or their exact charges.
