The drive honors the memory of a former "Lion King" star who died at the age of 11 before she could find a bone marrow match.
"My main reason why is to show hope for patients going through the process. The road is rough while going through the process. Kind of like how we got through this bike ride, there are hills and valleys and you just got to keep positive," said Elle Crofton.
Ashley Peddle was busy raising four children when she was shockingly diagnosed with cancer. The community organized a bone marrow registration event to show support.
