Nittany Lions dismiss Manny Bowen and Irvin Charles for violations

Penn State linebacker Manny Bowen, who was suspended for the final three games of the regular season, has been dismissed from the team. Backup wide receiver Irvin Charles was also dismissed. Both violated unspecified team rules, the school said.
