The Artemis II astronauts may have just returned from a successful mission to the moon, but NASA engineers are already preparing for the upcoming Artemis III launch.
The helicopter, named Ingenuity, hitched a ride to the red planet with the Perseverance rover, arriving last month. It'll be the first powered, controlled flight on another planet.
Wednesday's announcement includes more than a third of NASA's active astronauts in the Artemis program.
The biggest, most sophisticated Mars rover ever built is on its way to the red planet.
NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken are officially on the ISS after a successful docking.
"Let's light this candle," Hurley said just before ignition, borrowing the words from America's first human spaceflight in 1961.
