PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- We're warming up this weekend and looking at the potential for our first heat wave of the year next week.

SATURDAY: A nice start to the weekend. Plenty of sun, high 84.

SUNDAY: Sunny, warm and a touch humid. A stray pop-up thunderstorm can't be ruled out, high 90.

MONDAY: Sunny, hot and humid, high 92.

TUESDAY: Near record warmth with sunny skies, high 95.

WEDNESDAY: Hot again, with the chance of some evening storms, high 93.

THURSDAY: A few scattered showers early. The heat finally breaks and it's more seasonable, high 74.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy and comfortable, high 72.
