It happened just after 8:00 p.m. near 21st Street and Edgemont Avenue.
Authorities arrived to find 14-year old Anthony Amos Rainey with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was later pronounced dead.
No word what led up the shooting.
Chester Police continue to investigate.
