2 local schools receive Earth Day awards

In honor of Earth Day Saturday, two schools have been awarded for their forward thinking environmental programs.

Eight graders at Upper Merion Area Middle School in Montgomery County are receiving an award for a "sweet invention."

And in Delaware, the second winning school, the Las Americas Aspira Academy built an interactive playground with natural materials.

Congratulations to both of the winners.
