1 dead, 1 critical in Grays Ferry shooting

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- One man is dead and a second critical after gunfire erupted in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 5:50 p.m. Monday along the 1500 block of South Corlies Street.

Police say someone opened fire striking a 28-year-old man in the back and a 37-year-old man in the left side.

Both males were transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for care.

The 37-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital.

No arrests have been made.
