Crews worked to get control of a North Philadelphia fire.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were injured and five displaced due to a two-alarm fire in North Philadelphia Tuesday night.

The fire broke out around 9:15 p.m. on the 1600 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital in unknown condition.

A second person received medical attention at the scene.

At 9:39 p.m. the fire was elevated to a second alarm.

The fire was placed under control by 10 p.m.

Five people have been displaced as a result.
