Temple University is moving forward on plans to build a new football stadium on campus

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Temple University is moving forward on plans to build a new football stadium on campus.

Temple's president made the announcement to more than two hundred students during a meeting Monday night hosted by the Temple Student Government.

President Neil Theobald and Athletic Director Patrick Kraft were both on-hand at the Student Center in North Philadelphia to answer questions.

They said the 100 million dollar stadium will be funded with donations from alumni, and with money that's currently going toward using Lincoln Financial Field.
