A Pennsville high school football player who was struck by a hit-and-run driver last June was honored Tuesday night.

WOODBURY, N.J. -- A Pennsville High School football player who was struck by a hit-and-run driver last June was honored Tuesday night.

17-year-old Kyle Pszenny was critically injured when 23-year-old Zachary McDonough hit him as he rode his skateboard near Hook Road and Lee Avenue.

The South Jersey Coaches Association gathered at Auletto's in Woodbury to name him the Most Courageous player in the Tri-County Conference-Classic Division.
