Police cars heading to a shooting scene were involved a crash in Germantown.

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in Germantown that led to a collision involving patrol cars.

It happened Tuesday night at Chew Avenue and Woodlawn streets.

Police say a 33-year-old man was shot in the right arm. He was taken to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed as stable.

While responding to the shooting scene, Action News is told a police car hit a utility pole at Chelten Avenue and Wister Street.

A second police car was also involved in the crash.

There are no reported injuries to police.
