Driver crashes into house in Lower Merion

A driver crashed into a home in Lower Merion Township, Pa. (WPVI)

One person was injured after crashing into a home in Lower Merion Township.

It happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday at Haverford and Remington roads.

Police say the driver lost control, left the roadway, barreled through a fence, and struck the home.

Though the house was occupied at the time, no one inside was injured.

The driver was taken to a local hospital for care.

Police are continuing to investigate.
