Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting in Overbrook that left one person hospitalized.

It happened late Sunday night in the 6600 block of Malvern Avenue.

The victim, identified by police as a 21 year old, was returning from a bar at 66th Street and Lansdowne Avenue.

The victim was near the bus stop in the 6600 block of Malvern Avenue, police say, when a man approached and fired five times with a .22 caliber handgun.

That person was hit once in the hip and rushed to Lankenau Hospital in stable condition.

Police say the victim and suspect were at the same bar earlier, and it appears the victim may have been followed.

Investigators are working to determine what led to the shooting.

They are looking for two suspects whom they say may have been captured by surveillance cameras in the area.

One suspect is believed to have tattoos on his face.
