PECO supports STEM program

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- Students at the Community college of Philadelphia will have more resources to explore ways to create cleaner energy.

Thursday, the school received a 10 thousand dollar grant from PECO Thursday morning.

The money will be used for state of the art equipment to support the college's solar energy analysis and research programs.

Officials say having the latest tools available support the school's various science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs.
