National Burn Awareness Week

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Kids in Philadelphia are getting an important lesson about the dangers of fires and hot surfaces.

This year is National Burn Awareness Week.

The Philadelphia Fire Department made a special visit at St Christopher's Hospital for Children.

The hospital has the only dedicated pediatric burn center in the area.

Doctors and firefighters used games to talk with the children about burn safety.
