2 University of Delaware students robbed at gunpoint

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the suspect who robbed two University of Delaware students at gunpoint in Newark.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at South College Avenue near Winslow Road.

Police say two students were walking together when an unknown man approached them.

According to authorities, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded their cell phones.

After getting the phones, the armed man fled on foot westbound on Winslow Road.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20-25 years old, 5'10" tall, with a muscular build, short black hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and jeans.
