NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An argument inside a lounge at the Roosevelt Plaza in Northeast Philadelphia ended in a shooting, police say.

Authorities were called to the Lyrics Lounge at Harbison Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Witnesses say after the argument, a man jumped into a white SUV, pulled up alongside a 31-year-old man, and opened fire.

The 31-year-old was hit in the abdomen and the legs.

He was rushed to Aria Health Torresdale in critical but stable condition.

The suspect sped off after the shooting and remains at large.
