3 men flee from car after South Philadelphia police chase

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The search is on for three men who fled from a car during a police chase in South Philadelphia.

The incident began around 2:30 a.m. Sunday when Pennsylvania State Police attempted to stop a vehicle on I-95.

The vehicle continued toward the Schuylkill Expressway, and exited into South Philadelphia with troopers in pursuit.

Once at Passyunk Avenue, the three males inside the vehicle fled on foot into a wooded area.

Police gave chase, but were unable to locate the men.
