Barricade situation prompts lockdown at Neshaminy High School

Neshaminy High School was briefly placed under lockdown after a man barricaded himself in a nearby house in Bucks County.

LANGHORNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Neshaminy High School was briefly placed under lockdown after a man barricaded himself in a nearby house in Bucks County.

It happened around 7 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Old East Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Police say students were attending an event at the school when they were detained due to the nearby police activity in the neighborhood.

Students began exiting the building around 8 p.m., police say.

The barricaded man was taken into custody at 10 p.m., police say.

No injuries were reported.
