ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- A caseworker who was supposed to care for the elderly is going to prison for stealing from them.

A judge has sentenced 57-year-old William Price on Linwood to five years behind bars for theft by deception and ordered him to pay $125,000 in restitution.

Price admitted he stole from an elderly couple he met in 2006 through his job with Atlantic County Protective Services.

Price was indicted in March along with the owner of an in-home senior care company in Atlantic County and her sister. They're charged with conspiracy and money laundering for allegedly conspiring with a lawyer to steal millions of dollars from elderly clients.

The lawyer, 63-year-old Barbara Lieberman of Northfield, pleaded guilty to money laundering. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison and forfeited $3 million.
