FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have identified a man gunned down in Frankford Tuesday in broad daylight.

It happened before 11:44 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say 27-year-old Andre Moore, of the 2100 block of Bridge Street, was walking with his girlfriend on Torresdale Avenue when a man started shooting at him.

Moore fled. The gunman chased him, continuing to fire.

Officers arrived to find him suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and legs.

Medics rushed him to Aria Health/Torresdale in critical condition. He was pronounced dead a short time later, at 12:51 p.m.

The gunman remains at large.

Police are looking for a black man with a dark complexion, 5'7" tall with a thin build.

He was wearing black clothing and a black and white bandana across his face and was last seen running west on Bridge Street away from Torresdale Avenue.
