Driver crashes into water treatment plant in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN, Pa. -- Police say a driver lost control and crashed into a water treatment plant in Pottstown, Pennsylvania early Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on the 1200 block of Industrial Highway.

The serious crash caused several roads to be blocked off, police say.

So far, there is no word on the condition of the driver.

The county coroner has been called to the scene.

Police are trying to determine what caused the car to go out of control.

Investigators have not released the name of the driver.
