A dye pack exploded when a bank robber got stuck in a set of doors.

TACONY (WPVI) -- A suspected bank robber didn't get too far with the loot Tuesday in Philadelphia's Tacony section.

Investigators say it was around 2:00 p.m. when the 55-year-old suspect walked into the Citizens Bank on the 6900 block of Torresdale Avenue and demanded money.

When he tried to leave with the bag of money he got locked between two sets of doors and the dye pack exploded.

He was then taken into custody.
