WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A firefighter and resident were injured in a house blaze in Wilmington, Delaware early Thursday morning.

The fire broke out around 12:15 a.m. on the 500 block of Eastlawn Avenue.

Crews focused on the basement when they arrived on the scene.

The fire was placed under control in just over a half hour.
