Man shot 6 times in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- Police say a man was shot multiple times in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown neighborhood.

It happened just before 8:00 p.m. in the 3100 block of North Rosewood Street.

Police say the victim, a 28-year-old man was shot twice each in the neck, the stomach and the arm.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

Officials say the victim is likely paralyzed from the neck down.

No word on a motive or any arrests.

Police are investigating.
