Man shot to death in Parkside ID'd

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- A 38-year-old man who was shot to death in Philadelphia's Parkside neighborhood has been identified.

It happened around 1 a.m. Saturday on the 4200 block of Leidy Avenue.

Police say Ricardo Grant from the Logan section was shot in the chest.

Grant's friend who was with him at the time of the shooting waved down police for help.

Responding officers rushed the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he died.

So far, there is no word on arrests or a motive for the shooting.
