The 33-year-old victim told officers the bullet came through the rear window of his car and grazed him in the neck.

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating the shooting of man who was hit by gunfire while driving.

The 33-year-old victim told officers the bullet came through the rear window of his car and grazed him in the neck.

Police believe the incident happened early Thursday morning near the intersection of Kensington Avenue and Allegheny Avenue.

The man drove himself to Temple Episcopal Hospital for treatment.

He is listed in stable condition.

Police continue to search the area for any signs of a crime scene.
