4 displaced after South Jersey house fire; reports of explosion under investigation

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway after a reported explosion and fire destroyed a home in Pleasantville, New Jersey.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 700 block of New Jersey Avenue.
Firefighters responded to find the home heavily damaged.
Authorities said everyone inside the residence was able to escape safely.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling the blaze and was treated at the scene.
The American Red Cross is assisting four adults who were displaced by the fire.
Officials have not said what caused the reported explosion or the fire.
