VINELAND, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police have identified 30 year-old Otoniel Bautista-Vargas and 27 year-old Saul Bautista-Vargas as the two men pulled from the Crystal Lake in Vineland, New Jersey, on Wednesday night. The brothers were from Bridgeton, N.J.

Police believe the two men were fishing when one of the brothers decided to take a swim and got in trouble in the water. The other brother went in to help, but tragically both drowned.

Police found personal effects of one of the men along with fishing equipment on the shoreline. The park where the lake is located has posted signs saying no swimming, and that there are no lifeguards at the lake.
