Norristown man arrested on child porn charges

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man from Norristown, Pa. has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Victor William Bennett Jr., 30, was arrested on Friday after a nearly five-month-long investigation.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's office say it was back in April when Bennett shared 44 video files and 37 images files showing children involved in sexual acts or poses.

Officers executed a search warrant on his home in June, allegedly recovering additional video and image files on his laptop's hard drive.

After his arrest, Bennett was arraigned with bail set at $500,000 unsecured.
