Police chase driver onto SEPTA tracks in Lansdowne, Pa.

LANSDOWNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police chased a driver wanted for traffic violations onto SEPTA tracks in Lansdowne, Delaware County early Thursday morning.

Officers attempted to stop a driver in an SUV around 12:30 a.m. near the Lansdowne station off of Union Street.

The driver fled and drove off the road onto the train tracks.

Police say the suspect got out of the car, and there was a brief foot pursuit.

Investigators are questioning one person. They believe a second person may be involved.
