PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Police Department spent the last three days protecting the city during the NFL Draft, but, just like everyone else at the Ben Franklin Parkway, they had fun, too.

Clearly, police officers have lives off of the beat, but one Philadelphia bike officer showed he knows how to keep the beat.

While working the NFL Draft Experience, Officer Charles Hendricks of the 12th district showed off his drumming prowess by challenging the Eagles Drumline.

Officer Troy Brown said the video, taken by Officer Lopez, made him smile considering all of the division that's happening these days.

Meantime, Mike Sotolongo captured video of the the Philly PD playing football with a group of kids.

"I gave my ball to Officer Jesse Woodhouse. He threw with the kids for 2 hours. Much love to these men!" Sotolongo said on Twitter.
