NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say they are questioning 2 persons of interest in the road rage incident involving a school bus in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say they are questioning two women, but that no charges have been filed.

In addition, police recovered a Chevrolet Suburban they believe the suspects were driving. And late Friday afternoon a search warrant of the vehicle yielded a baseball bat.

The incident all unfolded on Roosevelt Boulevard near Devereaux Street on Thursday, and a child was hurt in it all.

Investigators say St. Katharine Drexel Students on the bus were verbally fighting with the five women in the SUV.

Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum of the Philadelphia Police explains, "During the course of this verbal dispute the SUV cuts off the bus. Two women get out of the SUV and one comes out with a baseball bat, striking the vehicle several times, breaking a window."

One student suffered some minor cuts from the shattered glass and was treated at the school.

Police say one student wrote down a partial tag of the SUV and detectives with the auto squad were able to track down the Chevrolet Suburban on the 2100 block of North 4th Street.

Those involved are facing aggravated assault, assault, and reckless endangerment charges.
